Ms.
Friedland studied for her Postgraduate degree
at the Rubin Academy of Music at the Tel
Aviv University where she graduated "summa cum laude.” She
has performed as chamber musician and soloist in numerous festivals
and concerts in Israel and also in France, Germany, Russia, Norway,
Belgium, Italy, Holland, Finland, Sweden and the United States. Ms.
Friedland has appeared in Israel with some of its leading orchestras,
such as The Young Symphony Orchestra, The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra
and The Israel Chamber Orchestra. She has recorded numerous programs
for the Israel Radio and has recently released a CD, together with pianist
Jonathan Zak, with music for two pianos and four hands for "Romeo
Records." Ms. Friedland pursues a career of both pianist and lecturer
and regularly gives lectures in Israel and abroad. She is currently
on the teaching faculty at Haifa University 's Music Department, Department
of Multi- Disciplinary Studies, and also at the Buchman-Mehta School
of Music, Tel-Aviv University.
